Purity, oxidation, coatings, solder, oil, moisture, plastic, and steel attachments all change effective weight. Materials sold under the same name can receive different classifications when their origin, batch consistency, or cleanliness differs.
Volume, packaging, loading, location, transport, and payment terms also affect transaction costs. Clear photos, specifications, estimated weight, and location produce a more useful preliminary review than asking only for a fixed price per kilogram.
